On the Feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Jesus was not just a day of celebration, but a call to action for all who attended. Bishop Lagho's message of unity and service served as a guiding light for the community as they move forward together.
His generous contribution towards the roofing of the new church is a tangible example of what can be achieved when the community comes together with a common purpose.
In his homily His Lordship pointed out on the Strengthening of Faith Community
The outpouring of support and the shared sense of purpose have invigorated the faithful at St. Joseph Kisangani outstation. This unity is not just about financial contributions, but about fostering a deeper connection with one another through acts of kindness, shared prayers, and communal worship. Each member of the congregation was encouraged to find ways to serve, whether through volunteering, participating in church activities, or simply offering support to a neighbor in need.
Looking Ahead
As the plans for the new church roof move forward, there is a renewed sense of hope and anticipation within the parish. The new roof is more than just a structural improvement; it symbolizes the collective efforts and faith of the community. It is a sign of the dedication and love that each member has for their church and their commitment to seeing it flourish.
##A Call to Continued Generosity
While the Kshs. 50,000 contribution is a significant milestone, was also a reminder of the ongoing need for support and generosity. The community was encouraged to continue finding ways to contribute, whether through financial means, volunteer work, or prayer. Every little bit helps in the mission to build a stronger, more resilient parish.
##Final Reflections
The Feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Jesus at St. Joseph Kisangani outstation was a day filled with spiritual enrichment, communal bonding, and a reaffirmation of faith. Bishop Willybard Lagho’s presence and his inspiring message have left a lasting impact on the congregation. As we move forward, let us keep the spirit of this day alive in our hearts and actions.
We are reminded that our journey of faith is not walked alone but together as a community. Through unity, service, and generous giving, we can achieve great things. Let us continue to support one another, build our church, and deepen our faith, always remembering the sacrificial love of Christ that binds us together.
His Lordship appreciated the faithful and generous people who contributed and participated in this memorable celebration. Requesting them to keep the momentum going and strive to make the community stronger and more united in faith and service.

Readings for Today
While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many.” Mark 14:22–24 (Year B Gospel)

### Rt Rev Bishop Willybard Lagho Launches Humanitarian Projects at Christ the King Academy, Kibokoni in Malindi
(By Collins Mdarisi)
*Malindi, June 1, 2024** - In a significant step towards improving the well-being of the local community, Bishop Willybard Lagho of the Malindi Catholic Diocese has unveiled two essential humanitarian projects at the Christ the King Academy in Kibokoni-Malindi. The projects, executed in partnership with the Rotary Club of Malindi, include the launch of a new borehole and the distribution of sanitary towels.
#### Borehole Launch
The newly inaugurated borehole is set to provide a reliable source of clean water for the students and the surrounding community. Access to safe and clean water is a fundamental necessity, and this project aims to alleviate water scarcity issues in the region. The borehole will not only support the daily needs of the academy but will also contribute to better hygiene and health standards for the entire community.
#### Distribution of Sanitary Towels
In a bid to promote menstrual hygiene and support young girls, sanitary towels were distributed to students at the academy. This initiative is crucial in ensuring that girls do not miss school due to menstrual-related challenges, thereby fostering a more inclusive and supportive educational environment. Access to sanitary products is a vital aspect of health and dignity, and this distribution is a step towards empowering young girls to achieve their full potential without interruption.
### A Joint Effort for a Brighter Future
These projects are a testament to the impactful collaboration between the Malindi Catholic Diocese and the Rotary Club Malindi. Their combined efforts are focused on addressing critical needs within the community, ensuring sustainable access to essential resources, and promoting overall well-being.
Bishop Willybard Lagho expressed his gratitude for the partnership and the positive change it brings, stating, "These projects represent our commitment to serving the community and improving the quality of life for all. We are grateful to the Rotary Club Malindi for their unwavering support and dedication to these noble causes."
The launch event was attended by members of the community, students, and representatives from the Rotary Club Malindi, all of whom celebrated the successful implementation of these projects.
